Carson Mansion

This home was commissioned by William Carson, one of California's first lumber barons. Building started in 1883 and took over 100 men more than two years to complete the home.
It is said that this home was the inspiration for the house used in the Numsters TV show.

This enormous and, absolutely gorgeous mansion was built by William Carson in 1884 in Eureka, California. It is three stories tall and has eighteen rooms. The Carson Mansion is considered to be the grandest of the grandest of Victorian homes in America.
