Habt ihr einen Organspendeausweis? 🪪

🔭🌌 Excited to share my highlights:

Captured the Horsehead Nebula (and Flame Nebula) in Orion! 🐴🔥 My favorite area within my favourite constellation.

Integration time of 12 hours during 2 nights using LRGB-Ha filters.

davilovick,

The Horsehead Nebula (IC 434) gets its name from the dust clouds that strikingly resemble a horse's head. 🐴✨

davilovick,

On the other hand, the Flame Nebula (NGC 2024) appears as a vast portion of the sky ablaze, resembling a cosmic inferno! 🔥🌌

The Wizard Nebula (NGC 7380), an emission nebula in Cepheus.

Integration time of 11 hours during 3 nights using SHO narrowband filters.

My main project and first ever mosaic-panel taken during my Tuscany trip. Consisting of two panels and taken over 4 nights with my OSC (one shot color) astrocamera TS2600C, the image shows the beautiful composition of the heart and soul nebula (guess which is which 😉). Both panels have about ~10 h total exposure. Stacked, stitched and edited in Pixinsight.

M33, the Triangulum Galaxy

A spiral galaxy located approximately 2.73 million light-years away from Earth in the constellation Triangulum, M33 aka the Triangulum Galaxy has a diameter of 18.74 kiloparsecs (61,100 light-years).

It forms the third galaxy in the Local Group - including the Milky Way and Andromeda of which the M33 is a satellite.

🔭📷 summer object: Cocoon Nebula (IC 5146) in Cygnus.

Pretty compact star-forming region, with a long trail of interstellar dust clouds.

Total integration time of 12.5 hours during 2 consecutive nights.

The Iris Nebula

NGC7023 aka the Iris Nebula is a reflection nebula 1300 light-years away in Cepheus, about 6 light-years across.

It's particularly impressive caught in the middle of LDN1170, the large swathes of brown dust swirling around.
