The #IETF118 Prague meeting in early November was productive and full of lively discussions fueled by 1806 onsite and remote participants. @intarchboard member Christopher A. Wood shares some highlights from the meeting: https://www.ietf.org/blog/ietf118-highlights/
A week full of discussions and learning at #ietf118 has ended. Still need to get some of my drafts into a better shape, but here you can find all my presentations. #Thread (1/5)
Day one of #IETF118 draws to an end, day three if you count the hackathon, and I'm already exhausted with the amount of information I took in.
Other than the HRPC group, where I only posted a quick summary of one talk, I've actually mostly spent time talking to people how I can get traction on several of @interpeer's sub-projects (or rather, their respective specs), and that has provided a much clearer path forward.
HRPC at #IETF118 kicks off with the highly political topic of how Israel influences/controls ICT infrastructure in Palestine, in the light of the UN stating that access to the Internet is a human right.
It starts with the uneven allotment of 3G frequency spectrum.
Exciting times at #IETF118! The #IETFHackathon is happening this weekend, and it's buzzing with over 400 enthusiastic participants and a whopping 40+ fascinating projects. Witnessing the community collaborate on running code to advance Internet standards is always a thrilling experience! #InternetStandards
