Love free/open/libre software and its community? Come join us! We are looking for coordinators and general volunteers to help us keep and improve this great conference.
📢Quick but big update. #SeaGL date and location is out!
The 12th edition will happen on November 8th and 9th, 2024 at the UW HUB (same as 2023)!
Soon we will announce more details. Meanwhile, we are still looking for more people to join this great community and help us have an even better event.
SeaGL is a fantastic, volunteer run conference. Like all volunteer events it relies on people helping out
You do not need to be in Seattle (I've been helping for 5 years from outside the area) and we've had multi-continent volunteer team for the last few years
We have officially resumed activities for #SeaGL. Soon we'll be publishing this year date and location. Stay tuned.
However this won't be possible without enough volunteers. If you are interested in joining our staff or help in any capacity please reach out to us! We can always use an extra hand, or leg, or wing..
Not FreeDOS, but if you missed Jim's talk yesterday at #SeaGL about #Unix history, you can watch Jim do a similar demo as a YouTube Livestream with VCF, at 5:30 US/Central today:
🗻 Missing #SeaGL this year. Needed a weekend to slow down and take a breath. Once I'm back to a normal job, it'll be a regular stop for me. As it should be for you. #OpenSource#FreeSoftware#Seattle#PNW
Sad to not be at @SeaGL for their triumphant in-person return, but I still have a cold whose onset coincided with both travel and a prolonged COVID exposure, and y'all don't need that.
Hope the conference goes amazingly for all involved! #SeaGL
