Lately I have become interested in movies by the Japanese director Hirokazu Koreeda. I saw #Shoplifters and #NobodyKnows and because these movies managed to move me I decided to watch other movies by him as well. I have seen #LikeFatherLikeSon which was also very good but didn't move me like the previous two I saw. #Broker and #AfterTheStorm are next on my list. If anyone has good suggestions let me know.

Yasujirō Ozu is probably the greatest and most influential film director that ever lived. Right now you can watch 10 (!) of his movies (that are otherwise hard to get) on French/German TV arte for free:
