Decided to draw pear horse today. I got myself some new ink and a new brush that I really wanted to test out, so I made this. Also got to use my markers again... which turns out also cause my new ink to smudge... so I guess I also learned that today

I recently decided to embark on a series of drawings/paintings that has a focus on the stars and the sky, inspired by a particularly intense round of Elite Dangerous and one of my favourite members of my community.
Since I started learning to draw, my guiding light that keeps me moving forward are the works of CosmicUnicorn. She left the fandom back around 2016, but her art remains visible and continues to enthrall and amaze me every time I look at it. This is one of my first forays into background art, at least the digital kind, and i'm pleased with the result. I'll be using the Stargazer project to practice my landscapes and night skys a lot more going forward, so keep an eye out!
