I had that with the last long #Kdrama I watched. ( #DongYi 60 eps ).
While I watched it 5 times already.
Very intense, max 1.5 hr. a day and no other drama or movie after that.
Now #MyLovelyLiar: Much lighter, easy to mix with another .

It's a good day. After a quiet, smoky day at home yesterday, I started in #kimchi, made aloo palak with eggs for breakfast, watched the second-last episode of #MyLovelyLiar with my #kdrama peeps in 3 countries, and now, it's time to finish the kimchi and get the laundry done.
I'll start yoga strong classes this week as well as a #French discussion group. #hangul learning is going quite well. I made a Quizlet set with a lot of common words/phrases in K-dramas. #sewing coming up on Wednesday.
I reeeeeally want to like #mylovelyliar but I find it boring 😅 And with Cheng Yi's South Wind Knows debuting on Youku right now. Eh, I find myself 👀 in other directions.
Watching #MyLovelyLiar now and after the raging intensity and angst of #MeteorButterflySword it feels like things are slower, like eating warm scones instead of raging hot Thai green curry.
It is not bad, though I have to admit I am wondering what the hype is about.
Am I just jaded or something? 😆 Or do I just miss seeing people vomiting blood 🤣

Oh, romance isn't super important to me but I am REALLY enjoying #MyLovelyLiar! I greatly appreciate the symmetry between the leads, the fact that they've led similar lives in many ways, isolated and wealthy. The way that they get to know each other and demonstrate caring is quite lovely. Also, they both have a lot of character growth and get to know and trust other people a bit more in every episode. For some reason, the mystery is also quite compelling.
There's one drama that I've really been looking forward to watching every week and that's My Lovely Liar. I like it a lot so far. Going on a holiday next week so I'll probably have to wait a bit longer to watch the new episodes. But I guess I'll get to binge a few when I get back! #mylovelyliar#kdrama#kdramas

Just started #Healer" on Viki, as well as #MyLovelyLiar. Both are full of action, romance, and hilarious dialogue. Well worth the $8 it's cost me thus far for a subscription. #kdrama rules. I don't think I'll ever go back to western TV, with the exception of season 3 of #ReservationDogs (Disney Prime, my son shares his sub for now)

Yup. As much as possible, I try to only watch series that are complete but I need to schedule time to rewatch the first 4 episodes before Monday! We have a great Discord chat going about all of our theories. #MyLovelyLiar #kdrama.
I have decided to break my sacred rule of not watching a #CDrama live (before it ends). I will be watching #MysteriousLotusCasebook - the bromance is just too intriguing!
I hope it ends well, not in one of those ambiguous, tragic endings.
I'm not so into #BackFromTheBrink though I think it's good. I'm just not into romantic dramas in general, and the terrible CGI spoils some of my enjoyment.
