Près de chez moi, il y a un prunier qui s’appelle Omoi no mama, qu’on pourrait traduire par “à son gré”, qui porte des fleurs blanches et roses (et parfois rouges, il paraît, mais je n’en ai pas vu en trois ans que j’habite ici), selon une répartition qui change chaque année.
J’aime beaucoup l’idée qu’un arbre ait un nom individuel 🩷

Bees see in the ultraviolet spectrum, so I was curious what a plum blossom looked like under a UV light. I wish I had better camera for close up photos. Seeing how the flowers light up, gave me a small idea of what bees see.
