Many customers do not know they cannot get out via #Uber or #ridesharing! I refuse to deal with it when Uber STILL makes us accept those fares, drive halfway there, only to be blocked by closed roads!
LOL, forwarded an AARP video on "how to use a ridesharing app" to the relatives, who recently asked to have me pick up THEIR FRIENDS from the airport (4 hr RT nowadays) "Forward this video to your friends! Sorry I can't help them out" -- I only drive them because of family obligation, but somehow they must have gotten the impression that I run a free Uber service for old people. 😂 😭
If #Uber punishes us drivers (we’re allowed a certain amount of refusals before our earned-status gets rescinded) for not accepting rides, then riders who have low ratings should pay more.
Why should I risk a 4.5-rated rider when the next one is 4.99? It takes a LOT of bad behavior to earn a downgraded rating of 4.5! #ridesharing
Update: We pushed his trip back a few hours, but now we're being made to feel like this was our fault when it was originally agreed that he'd pay for his own Ubers and stuff, especially when we told him we didn't have much money to begin with.
If anyone can please assist with this, I'd be really grateful.

Okay, slightly annoyed and worried, and I really don't like being put in this situation.
So my friend was supposed to pay for his transportation back to the bus station so he could return home. Unfortunately he's broke and I'm 11 dollars in the hole already.
He's supposed to catch the bus to get back to the cities in an hour, all paid for in advanced, but I lack the money to put him on a Lyft or Uber to get him to the station.
If anyone could spare like 30 or 40 dollars at the absolute most, I'd appreciate it. 11.99 for the negative value of my account, plus 30 or so to account for transportation cost and tipping the driver.
I can pay you back next week if you'd like.
I was under the impression he had the money so this wasn't ever really a concern until just literally like five minutes ago. Beyond that, if I don't get him to the bus stop, that means he's godda stay here longer, and I don't have the food stuffs or resources to host him another week until I get paid.

Can we please stop pretending that #Uber and #lyft and other #RideSharing platforms are AFFORDABLE?
They're not. They're equitable. They're not universally available. You can't BUY an Uber with cash. You can't get an UberPass.
You can't jump on an Uber for the same price at 12 am as you can at 6pm.
Ride Share is not equitable. It's another way for wealthier citizens to get around, and in its most dire form, a tax on our more vunlerable citizens who don't have a car, whose bus just failed to turn up, and who need to get to work or they'll be fired.
I'm considering using Uber/Lyft instead of a shuttle for an event. Has anyone done this? It's it possible to find out how many active drivers are in an area? #uber#lyft#ridesharing
