I’d like to wish a happy Rosh Hashana to my fellow “honorary” Jews, the non-Jewish spouses and partners and families who celebrate the traditions of the season to make sure this beautiful culture is never forgotten or wiped out. Fight #antisemitism at all costs! 🍎🍯
(I first wrote this as a comment but it's worth enough to be a full post.)
Starting tonight is Rosh HaShana, the Jewish new year!
Here's how to bless your fellow Jews:
"Shana tova" is a classic. The literal meaning is "a good year".
You can also go "shana tova u-mutzlachat" (the "ch" pronounced like Bach) for an upgrade.
Another one that's sure to impress because goyim usually don't know about it is "chatima tova" (again, "ch" like Bach). #Jew#Jewish#RoshHaShana#JewishHoliday
