This is so similar to what happened to me when I started researching the "Race and Intelligence" article complex on the Wikipedia it's uncanny... only I got zero support and most of the errors I corrected were reverted. And I stopped editing after a year of that. Maybe things have changed and I'll try again.

    I know many people who use GMail's HTML view. Not only will they be confused but will be unhappy.

    I mean, what's really the difference between removing a poll and readding one and just editing an existing poll if the latter resets data? they are basically the same.
    so the issue is less that and more the lack of warning and the inconsistency between editing the body and editing the poll options.

    • "Shana tova" is a classic. The literal meaning is "a good year".
    • You can also go "shana tova u-mutzlachat" (the "ch" pronounced like Bach) for an upgrade.
    • Another one that's sure to impress because goyim usually don't know about it is "chatima tova" (again, "ch" like Bach).

    The normalisation of the extreme-right by the centre-right in Sweden went like this.

    • we will never work with them.

    • we happened to vote the same way as them.

    • since we know they also like this policy, we will propose it. But we are not working with them!

    • our policies are based on extreme-right support so it makes sense to talk to them

    • a local council will be run with extreme-right support. But never nationally!

    • YOLO national government with extreme right support, it's normal now

    when Meir Kahane, a Rabbi that can't be described any other way than the Jewish equivalent of a Nazi, was elected into Parliament in 1984, all other parties refused to even acknowledge him, his speeches was boycotted, and a special law was passed to bar him from running in the next election.

    40 years later, one of his most prolific students is now the minister of national security who oversees the police.

    Reminder that is not secure communication. Most chats aren't end-to-end-encrypted to begin with, and even those that are use a strange custom-built algorithm rather than actual cryptographically sound algorithm such as the double-ratchet.

    If you want actual secure communication, use , , or even (which is shit and will turn you in to the police but is still better than what Telegram).

    the context is that this needed to be explained to someone on the Signal Forum which is more proof that Telegram is widely successful in their absolutely misleading claims of being secure.
