Did good mapping survey of the streets and shops around Wakatu Square today. Added a few businesses, updated lots, and learned more about my city, so a very productive session.
There are a lot of websites and phone numbers that will have to be added after a bit of online research as well.

We used fork to do it, because it has the quests as well as editing raw tags. And, the 'team mode' worked well.

The @pinoy @OSM—PH communities in , got together last Sunday, for a field mapping party ("AlayData"), celebrate , and got to play with the app (a fork of ) and , while another team opted to collect ground level photos for .

While most of the folks have experience with mapping, we had a couple of novice participants, who seemed to have enjoyed it as much as we did.

We ought to do this more often.

Apart from the @vespucci_editor and @osmandapp , do you know of any other mobile editor that supports custom tile layers?

@MapAmore

The fork called SCEE, for "experienced editors" supports custom tile layers.

Though there's a bug on the UI that refers to the custom layer by it's default name. Otherwise, it works.

See attached screenshot of the app, with a tile as background.

When editing on the go, @everydoor is my hands-down favorite, but I'd hesitate recommending it for more new mappers.

I've been playing with just now, and really like how easy it is, maybe even for new contributors.

Plus, it's a progressive web app that runs in a browser, or installable in your device: https://osmgo.com , so this also seems to be a great candidate tool to introduce as a friendly editor for @openstreetmap mapping parties for new users.

@beta_tester thanks, I sometimes use the fork, aka the "Expert Edition", but not

streetcomplete is too simple, vespucci is too overkill. Is there something in between?

Co do , to jest aplikacja dla masochistów, chyba że chce się używać na tablecie. Na telefonie używanie tej aplikacji to koszmar. Ciężko precyzyjnie edytować palcem jakiś obiekt, bo jest po prostu za mały.
