Earlier tonight we had an interesting case of Stalinism at the BBC.
You'll recall that Amanda Abbington left #Strictly a few weeks ago in (what is rumoured to be) unusual circumstances.
Whatever her reasons for leaving, watching the recap of Strictly 2023 there was not sign she'd ever been a contestant at all; she had been completely airbrushed out.
Well as the programme is built on a lie (there is no Sunday show, its shot on Saturday after the main show), perhaps we shouldn't be surprised!
#Strictly Bobby and Dianne dancing to A Womans Work - was astounding again. An incredible dance.
But it also shows how difficult it is to sing a Kate Bush song. The singers and musicians are amazing, but twice they have not quite managed to get this song in the intensity and clarity that is has in the orgiinal.
Not really a criticism, just an understnading of how stunning Kates voice is. And How this dance would have been 12/10 to the original.
