Apparently, the new conspiracy theory about how the #KansasCityChiefs were scripted to win over the #SanFrancisco49ers in #SuperBowlLVIII is that there were 3 seconds left on the clock when KC scored their touchdown.
Yeah, didn't matter. They apparently didn't notice that KC didn't kick the extra point? The 49ers don't get another chance. Cause #NFL playoff overtime rules say that as long as both sides have had possession of the ball, it doesn't matter how much time is left.
Apex Marketing Group predicts that Usher (who did not get paid for his halftime performance) garnered $52.5 million in exposure and marketing with his appearance.
CBS PR is quick at work. Keep in mind that these are fast nationals (aka Overnight) ratings. These could get adjusted tomorrow. H/T @emarktaylor for finding this.
I gotta talk about #TonyRomo some more. I don't know that I've heard many games he's worked but I don't recall him being this obtrusive. I mean, he's supposed to be doing color commentary, not play by play. Is he auditioning for a coaching job with his constant "they should do this" / "they should have done this"? He was being way more disruptive to me watching the game than a couple second glimpse of a famous singer in the stands. #SuperBowlLVIII#SFvsKC#NFL#CBSSports
