The unfixed and wishy-washy definition of "supermajority" has always bothered me. 3/5? 60 Senators out of 100? That's dumb and arbitrary.
I've come up with a better definition. This is now the formal definition for "supermajority" and we should all use it.
> A "supermajority" is the fraction within the interval (1/2, 1) attained by minimally adjusting the numerator and/or denominator of 1/2 by an integer value.
#Republicans have lost their minds. Now, they're pushing #legislation to ban #abortions in federal waters. Fortunately, this #bullshit has no chance of becoming #law as long as the Republicans don't have a #supermajority, but it highlights just how #insane, and disgustingly out-of-touch they are. Remember, 70% of the #American#population supports a woman's right to abortion.
