Finished rereading Intervention by Julian May.

The last line still gets me every time. 🥲

Spoilerific to explain why.

Recommended. But you need to read the 4 books in The Saga of The Pliocene Exiles before Intervention, and then the 3 books in The Galactic Milieu after it.

I don’t understand why the whole story arc hasn’t be given the TV series treatment. It has everything from epic fantasy to ultra high tech. An adaptation was rumoured.

Can I just say that I’m enjoying my current reread of Intervention by Julian May immensely.

It’s as good as I remember it being. I’ve read it 10s of times over the decades since it was published.
