Mostly, I'll remember 2023 as the year that gave us the first disappointing Mission Impossible movie in 23 years.

Other things probably happened, but that's the big event for me, personally.

Hayley Atwell should be illegal.

Having had two dry(ish) days in , it is not surprising that that the third was wet and not by a little. I usually like using my paper maps and to my way around a new place but I forgot to bring my compass on this occasion and so I had to revert to (don’t tell anyone else) in order to find near . I couldn’t see much else but at least our was 12 km and so it was still worth it.

I watched because why the heck not, mindless actions is entertaining enough.

It was surprisingly exciting and interesting, engaging even. I was at the edge of my seat for long stretches of time and even cared a bit about the characters and where the story would go.

Gestern konnten wir dem Boss in endgültig den Garaus machen. Damit ist die Kampagne durch, das weitere Spiel haben wir als nicht so reizend abgetan. Vielleicht irgendwann nochmal in anderer Spielerzahl...
Damit kann das Regal zeigen welche es noch vorhält. Beim nächsten Abend wird voraussichtlich eingeweiht. Oder tiefer erkundet...

Hey all that are going to see that are sensitive to high pitched noises or have !

There is a high pitched sound effect that's used when Grace, Hayley Atwell's character, wrecks a car in the first part of the movie. You might want to cover your ears for about...15 seconds I want to say?

Fortunately that's the only occurrence throughout the movie but wanted to make sure I note this.

Having heard great things about part one, and having never watched a movie, I decided to make my way through the first six films.

So far I’ve watched the first two and I found them to be just so-sIs it generally accepted that they get (much?) better from 3 onward? Or am I wasting my time if I didn’t like the first two.

Non-spoiler reaction on - Part 1

It's fast-paced. Prepare for non-stop and prolonged action sequences. This movie doesn't feel rushed at all, and I love it. It wants you to savor every action and makes you feel as if you're part of it.

There are some familiar concepts and action scenes (might be a bit overused) but there are also unique ones.

Overall, it was well worth my 2 hrs and 45 minutes at the cinema. did it again. 👌
