Of course, #energy is a geopolitical issue, but environmental groups weren't willing to criticize China (something I've called them out on numerous times) and that limited their message - and impact.
@thejapantimes#Kishida is a prime example of how a promising politician, even from the LDP, can gradually become a #failure. For two years, the government here has been reeling from one problem to another and a complete absence of any response and, more importantly, any solution. As in the past, it's a pretty safe bet that the next PM here will be an extreme, noisy, and as confrontational as possible right-winger.
