@massivelyop I have an alt in #LOTRO currently hanging out in an umbari tavern, not doing anything save an occasional slaying of crocodile, sounds like a decent life to live :) (I wouldn't be in the boots of my main, though, who's wandering through the sewe... err the under-city)
@massivelyop does our own Internet nickname count as a "pet's name"? (I don't have a pet)(but my - other - Internet nickname is based on the randomly generated name of my first character in #LOTRO - which also inspired the name of my mains on the subsequent MMOs I played)(and yes, I answer to it 🐕)
@massivelyop Do you mean seeing old content again ?
Not really. I've had a hard time in #SWL because I basically had to re-run all #TSW content (without all the progress I had done in the latter, and a build that I didn't really like because the wheel had disappeared). And in #LOTRO, I try to use alternate zones for my alts, to avoid being bored by a content I've done several times (It's still missing an alternate zone for Moria and Rohan, on that level)...
I've planned this week's post outline properly now, so getting a bit of brain downtime and need to transition between games/mindsets.
So, I'm just exploring the latest supporter pack in #LOTRO.
It includes a Tom Bombadil-style skipping movement, but in walking mode, it allows you to use either the built-in staff or, if you're a Lore-master, your actual staff.
That spider is a skin-changing humanoid, you're quite right. 🕷️ :blobcatshocked:
I am, in fact, fighting with a pitch-fork. I wanted a different cosmetic, but many of the quirky ones are for staves or axes, and so far this is one of the few I've found that work with 2-handed swords.
I still want #LOTRO to let us carry our shields on our backs when not in use, but apparently the mystery of that has been lost through the Ages...at least in this world.
@massivelyop two-handed clubs (I don't remember having seen anyone use one - even as a cosmetic weapon) in #LOTRO
Halberds are also a niche in this game, being limited in use to one single class (and only being an option, contrary to the staff for LMs or stone for RKs), but they see some play...
