as per toots a few wks ago about Guinness Zero availability and pricing, last time I was excited to see the hard-to-find brew in a Loblaws (grocery chain) for a pricey $17 (4pack). The LCBO (liquor store) sells it for $13, but can't keep it in stock.
This evening we stumbled across a big supply at Food Basics (grocery chain) where it's $10! Was shocked at the price. Grabbed a few packs at that price.
"E. coli and S. enterica were found to survive in low- and non-alcoholic beer at all temperatures, pH, and % ABV under study. L. monocytogenes was observed to be less resilient, with population size declining below the detection limit after a few days."
NA stuff can still be triggering for some in recovery. I find that I don’t need or care for the NA spirits, but I do enjoy NA beers and aperitifs that have the bitter flavors I loved
Tried this non alcoholic mojito tonight; it's not bad! Apparently there are different varieties available. Manufactured by Canada Dry Motts. #NonAlcoholichttps://instagr.am/p/Cr4qxK8ggO1/
Any other non drinkers out there wonder why these fancy non alcoholic 'spirits' (let's face it they are just cordials!) are as expensive as alcohol? Alcohol is expensive because of the tax on it... but cordials aren't taxed!! WTF is going on, it seems to be a bit of a racket. Maybe I'm in the wrong business. Anyway, I make my own cordials (super easy) so I don't get bummed paying big quids for a sugar syrup! #nonalcoholic#alcoholfree#nondrinker
