: In and , ppl of any fitness level can dig graves big enough for anyone using just a shovel: no sweat: no relief, break, assistance; in dbl quick time; clothing in tact.

That too at arbitrary locations w no thought to access, visibility, or even how unsuitable the spot might be: What if there's a large rock after a foot or so.

I get it's all make believe but bothers me that no writer/director is interested in making it even a tiny bit more plausible. 😢

Anyway, moving on.

"Breakfast", one of few words English gets right but people won't let that be.

What it is: The meal to end a fast, whatever time of the day the meal happens to be. A fast being at least an overnight window with no food consumed.

What it has become: The meal first thing in the morning, but not any other meal later in the day, regardless of the fasting situation.

The reason to name the acronym in parentheses after you have spelled it out in text is because you will use that acronym alone later down the page. If you are not going to do that, do NOT mention it in parens Every. Single. Damn. Time. Grrrr

Another day, another #breach #notification #letter in the #mail...

This time, it's (get this...) my employer's Canadian subsidiary's group health plan's provider's banking partner's provider of file transfer services, #MOVEit.

It's 6 #degrees of #separation, but not in a good way.

"The type of #data accessed could include any of..." <everything needed for #identity #theft>, and as an extra-special bonus, "#Health information relating to a claim"!

And then they trigger my pet #peeve

The idiom is "to give in." You give in to pressure. You do not give into pressure. Grrr.

Today's annoyance:

Forms that filter and auto detect non compliant input that don't auto correct for you (e.g. phone number fields that limit total characters, say "no dashes or spaces" but let you enter them any way).

This results in spectacularly annoying cut-n-paste fails for the most obvious use case, and is completely avoidable.
