The annual Yardworks Festival was on this weekend at SWG3, with its usual display of wonderful street art. This one, by I Am Sprite, was one of my favourites.
Love this new mural on Paisley Road West in the Cardonald area of Glasgow. It features Winnie Drinkwater, the first woman in the world to hold a commercial pilot's licence, which she got in 1932 at the age of nineteen. She was born in Waterfoot in East Renfrewshire in Scotland in 1913 and died in New Zealand in 1996. The mural was painted by Spraywell Murala
Today in Glasgow is a day to be windswept and interesting, just like this mural of Jack Vettriano's 'Dr Connolly I Presume' on Dixon Street, which was created to celebrate Billy Connolly's 75th Birthday in 2017.
I haven't come across a new mural by Negative Destination in a while (probably because I haven't been out running around the streets of Glasgow as much as usual in the last few months), but I came across this great piece yesterday just off Hope Street.
