@SirTapTap An electric trimmer to get rid of the bulk is not a bad idea. Then once it's shortened and more manageable, safety razors are really good at getting a close shave. They last over a lifetime. The blades are the only major expense.

@mantic59 That slant in the photo is a terrific slant — the Fine aluminum homage to the vintage Merkur white celluloid slant from the 1930s — but it is no longer available. I do treasure mine.
The Baili 176 is a terrific little razor, but Maggard Razors no longer seems to carry it. Still available at Groomatorium.
