Adaptive and Standard are the only modes that sound acceptable, but the Game mode (fakish surround, oddly quiet??) is the default EVERY time the TV is turned on or switches inputs.
It never, ever, ever saves. Every other option sticks, controlled by the soundbar itself.
I'm really hoping God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West have it good? I figured Subnautica would be perfect but it turns out it doesn't do surround at all. This was my biggest annoyance with surround sound last time I tried too
Just set up the speakers for my #Samsung Q990C, TV is a samsung S95B
I haven't used a soundbar in years and never used the HDMI, I don't get how that works. Do I HDMI my consoles into the soundbar which passes in to the TV, or vice versa?
Edit: got it working on HDMI eArc. I guess just tell me if that's fine.
Also anyone else have a Samsung TV? How do I not see the constant border/volume UI when in Multiview?
Also wondering about a #soundbar for my #tv, SAMSUNG 65-Inch OLED 4K S95B
Are wireless soundbars "there" yet? Are soundbars really worth going for? I always wanted real surround but it's a a pain to do the wires. IDK if I can trust wireless though. I mostly game on the TV, latency would be death.
