Observe.js is a "lightweight #JavaScript library that allows developers to keep track of changes to JavaScript objects and/or DOM elements."

@davidbisset very interesting library. I’ve been wanting to observe objects with my own lightweight #Javascript we framework #storkCore (https://chiselapp.com/user/Setok/repository/storkCore/home) but at the time I couldn’t find a mechanism in #JS to detect property changes or detect calls. Do you know how they managed that?

  1. 👏 Hire someone that’s good at HTML and CSS to build components independent of JS frameworks 👏
  2. Plug components into a JS framework and layer on behavior later
  3. Pay HTML/CSS devs what they deserve for giving part of your code-base longer shelf life than unpasteurized milk

@zachleat @autiomaa I feel frameworks often just don't fit into my way of thinking, forcing me to code in their style, rather than my preferred solution for the issue. In addition they become bloated with layers upon layers.

I built my own JS framework, , to pretty much be the opposite of that. Slowly adding bits and pieces over the years.

Though I guess you could see that it, too, has its own philosophy. It fits my thought model, though.
