People whistle, bang, throw snowballs, call out, in an effort to get a good shot, usually for their selfie, & usually the animals are really practiced at filtering out these intrusions.
This day, I was watching this tiger curled up peacefully while some nearby people were being assess. They finally left & I decided to take a photo of a sleeping tiger. My shutter clicked, it's a different noise, the tiger was interested.
