How it started. How it's going.

Quite a dramatic change from a few months ago when everything was frozen! Our favourite tree still hasn't fully blossomed but the lily pads provide plenty of green! 😄

Hopefully, I can get a good photo in the summer and then again in autumn and have the whole "Four Seasons"

Transition between Spring and Summer.

Beautiful pink leaves of Spring are changing over to green leaves of Summer. The Spring explosion of colour is brief but intense.

Here's hoping for an awesome Summer.

Forest green sunshine. 🌲

I love how the branch from the right frames the wildflowers blossoming in the sunshine as the dried needles on the forest floor contrast the green grass.

Feels like a painting!

It's amazing how dramatic the skies get before a storm.

The weather changes so fast: these clouds lasted for only a few minutes before they were blown away and replaced by clear skies!

Glad I was able to capture them before the moment was lost.

Super green!

We've had a tonne of rain recently. While walking along the trail I stumbled upon this verdant green watershed! Some of the greenest plants I've ever seen!

Monet-like water lilies. 🥰

I boosted the blues in the water to make the photo look like one of Monet's water lily paintings.

Not bad from what was a rather dull grey day.

Set 3 of 3: Portrait crop.

(Aside: rain has finally stopped so I can get outside again!)

More indoor as it continues to rain. Experimenting with for the first time.

I tried this before but I didn't know what I was doing and the results were terrible. 😅 Much happier with this collection.

It's been too rainy to photograph outside. Figured I'd try some still life, which I've never done before. 😄

Nothing super remarkable, but I do like how the colours pop from the background. Lit from a handheld LED soft light.

Might try grabbing a few more shots of this bouquet before the flowers crumble.

Going to be a while before anyone rides again.

Nature is reclaiming this bicycle as it fades into the overgrowth. In a few months, it will be invisible as all the leaves obscure the metal.

I'm kind of surprised no one from the local antique market has claimed it for restoration.

Hard to believe this was a month ago in Southern Ontario!

Warm day and clear skies in the middle of February! And now that we've officially entered Spring, it's snowing and feeling like -10°C. 🌨️

I can honestly say this has been the most unusual Winter I can remember. I cannot wait for the snow to be gone for good.

Another tree was cut down along the trail. I think they're trying to eliminate some of the growth to prevent a fire, but I didn't see anything wrong with this particular tree.

I have to assume the Forest Service knows what they're doing.
