Quite a dramatic change from a few months ago when everything was frozen! Our favourite tree still hasn't fully blossomed but the lily pads provide plenty of green! 😄
Hopefully, I can get a good photo in the summer and then again in autumn and have the whole "Four Seasons"
I love how the branch from the right frames the wildflowers blossoming in the sunshine as the dried needles on the forest floor contrast the green grass.
We've had a tonne of rain recently. While walking along the trail I stumbled upon this verdant green watershed! Some of the greenest plants I've ever seen!
While visiting #Chicago last year, I spotted this unusual parking structure! The architecture in Chicago is amazing when even a parking garage is beautiful!
Another tree was cut down along the trail. I think they're trying to eliminate some of the growth to prevent a fire, but I didn't see anything wrong with this particular tree.
I have to assume the Forest Service knows what they're doing.
I'm loving the arrival of spring! Bright blue skies and golden sun. Can't wait for the plants down below to shake off winter and embrace their spring garb.
Happened to look up while walking home and noticed the full moon peaking through the heavy clouds. I tried taking over a dozen shots but clouds kept blocking my view! Glad at least one turned out well. 😅
