It’s officially official! Starting this month, my team has transitioned over to being a Threads team! 🧵🎉
Our mission is to make Threads as best as it possibly can be, focusing primarily on Japan, but ultimately for the world! 💪
I’m personally very excited to be a part of this. Threads is such a fast growing app, and it has been fascinating seeing it evolve in such a small amount of time. 🤩
If you have any suggestions/feedback for Threads, always feel free to ping me about it. Cheers! ✌️
Reddit posts 37% user growth, year-on-year. For a very mature social network, that seems huge. How much of that is people finding Reddit much higher in their Google rankings lately, I wonder?
i'm glad they found a viable way to have user growth without paywalling content from google (unlike pinterest and quora, i never click those links now). reddit is perhaps the only refuge from SEO blogspam on google nowadays
This is HUGE! Ryan Barrett, a talented dev, has just launched the BlueSky-Fediverse bridge known as Bridgy Fed!
This allows users on Fediverse (mastodon and other platforms besides threads, for now) and BlueSky to opt-in to have their posts shared cross-platform!
This is just another massive achievement for the future of social media! Hopefully once Threads fully integrates the Fediverse, this will possibly bridge Threads too! 🥳🥳🥳Fediverse is the future of social media!
super proud of our small but mighty web team for winning 2 @thewebbyawards for threads.net. happy to see the hard work the team poured into building the website with responsive design and high craft being recognized by the industry.
lots more exciting web features coming very soon, check out the threads.net experience if you haven't already!
