I think it's interesting seeing people in the restroom. Like if it's just some number 1, conversation time. But if it's number 2, no eye contact, no words to be had. Like you're ashamed of your own poo baby. Be proud of that loaf bro... You made that with your own body.
1 year ago #twitter and #reddit were my top social media sites. Now I don't even contemplate returning to either. The #fediverse has completely scratched those itches. Between @elk and @syncforlemmy, nothing is different from a UI perspective. Community is healthier in the fediverse. So thank you to everyone here who builds out infrastructure, tooling, and community for the fediverse. I appreciate it.
It was kind of like an abusive relationship where I was looking for the last straw so I could leave with anger rather than with any sort of regret or opportunity to consider going back.
