Here it is! The external Mute Switch. 🔕

Saw the concept by Voicu Apostol on Dribbble, and decided I wanted one for real.

Took some quick prototyping and 3D printing, and now it’s fully functional.

For now I use it as a quick light toggle, but the possibilities are endless.

Screen recording of an iPhone starts out on the Home Screen. A shortcut is triggered using the Action Button and a pop up appears after the shortcut runs with the message “The Lock Screen is not visible”. The iOS Lock Screen is then shown and the same shortcut is run again, this time showing the message “The Lock Screen is currently visible”.
