This is also a scam, some people who I assume know it’s fake, are enrolling and selling fake sovcit ID, and they probably send documentation about the whole thing.
Maybe both, they may have not starting it, but maybe now they are adding more content to the lore of sovcit. I have no idea, this whole thing makes so little senses.
Here is my opinion: Slide should have images, diagrams or charts to illustrate what I say, almost never any text. What I say is written in advance in the notes of the presentation that is only visible to me while presenting, but will be readable by anyone who look at the file afterwards. I prepare the duration and delivery of the speech at least three times in full before presenting.
Change your perception of the task, instead of it being a ‘thing that you will be happy to have done’ look at it as a ‘thing that are happy doing’,
for example instead of ‘I will be happy to have learned to play the piano so I should force myself to practice’ think ‘I am happy while practicing the piano’ instead of ‘I have to do the dishes’ think ‘I am cleaning these dishes with perfection, and optimising their placement so that they will dry the quickest’
Basically, don’t do things for the end goal, do it for the action itself, live in the present, not in the future. There’s always enjoyment to get from any chore if you approach it from this mindset.
My partner look at me funny when I put my shirts to dry in ascending color order, and my socks all parrallel, but the truth is, I’m having fun doing it that way, the chore has become a meticulous game that I take pleasure from.
I feel you. I am the exact same, so many unfinished project. But I think it’s good, i have fun for some times and then when it stops being fun I switch to something else.
I don’t think it’s a hipster thing anymore, I understand why: aesthetically vinyl are nicer than cds. You have a large cardboard with artworks. I might buy one from an artist whom art I like, and never actually play it.
Try being in their shoes: you set up an experiment to prove the earth is not flat and is indeed round, you run the experiment and at the end you realise your experiment fail and would prove the earth is flat. Would you changwe your point of view ? I know I wouldn’t, I would immediately assume I am an idiot and messed up the experiment, because I am so much convinced it is round, it would be much more realistic to assume I messed up.
As much as I like to make fun of the US, in this particular case I have to point out that a lot of other countries have antivaxxers.
Here in France we have an epidemic of them, and the numbers shows they really made covid worse. My own dad is one of them, and he told me dead serious he’d rather get sick than get any vaccine and that’s his choice and nobody should force him. He, and I guess most other antivax too, either does not understand the concept of herd immmunity or doesn’t care about other people.
I spend too much time on lemmy: I immediately assumed your comment was a meta-joke about lemmy, since every post about a software has a comment about its foss analogue. But now I’m unsure whether you were serious or not. Anyway it made me lol.
For anyone like me outside the US wondering what the fuck is GoogleFi : It’s a Virtual mobile network provider, using wifi and other provider’s network.
Hope I saved you a search.
For me living in france, these prices seems outrageous. For the record I pay 13€/months and got pretty much unlimited everything (130 GiB data is more than I’ll ever use in a single months on my phone)
Palworld sucked me in, I’m playing with my partner, we had a lot of fun, now it’s getting a little stale, we will probably wait for full release to pick it up again.
Haaa, but you missed out on the most important point, you need your parent to get you a house as soon as you stop living in theirs, that way you never pay rent, by the time you are 30 you would have saved 12 YEARS of rent, so probably enough to invest, create a business, buy houses to rent to other people (or whatever else rich people do to steal money from the workers).
