Colonoscopy prep and procedure.
Was gifted a new graphics card for my PC. Installed correctly, it is compatible with my motherboard. We have the proper power supply and the pc has completely shit the bed.
@Tijn yeah. It started off as a simple "Windows driver issue." That degraded to "Your bios won't load" to "no display at all and we have a yellow light saying you are overheating (it's not)" can't afford to get a new motherboard. Trying my hardest not to have a complete breakdown. Can't catch a break but doing some deep breathing and trying to calm down.
When I wake up from my nap, I am gonna hammer out all my DMs I've been sitting on.

Look, I spent last week with my oldest in the ER with a very unusual breathing condition, she starts physical therapy for a severe head tilt, has gone through a major emotionally triggering event and I have an upcoming colonoscopy and dental issue being dealt with this week. It's been A LOT of anxiety!
Someone did the nicest thing in the world and I can not stress enough how thankful I am to them. I live in a bubble. I have no family support, a single in-person friend and no support network. Having to be a full-time parent to a child who is a victim of trauma has been such a challenge that is compounded by being a single income home. We can't afford much and spend almost all of our money on the essentials and bills. 1/
So when someone decided to go out of their way to help me with something I've wanted for some time, I don't even know how to express it effectively. That doesn't happen to me... period and the fact that it did warms my heart to no end. I don't know what level of thanks I should express, because it just doesn't happen and I've no experience with it.

@Bogusmeatfactory I often feel like animal group names are a bit of an accidental practical joke we played on ourselves.
There are a bunch of real ones that people know and use, flock, pack, herd, swarm...
But then there's this prescriptive desire to have an official one for everything, and it just breaks down. We have to go looking for the one time someone was zany enough to invent one 200 years ago.
