The Ka-52 is able to fly without a functioning tail due to contra-rotating blades. Although the damage creates stability and control issues as the tail sports a large rudder.
With the possibility of reddit taking down r/combatfootage some time in the future, I've been thinking that it would be a shame for all the footage that's effectively been archived there to disappear. So I was wondering what peoples thoughts are around migrating old footage from r/combatfootage to here....
Imgur has worked for me so far. But they do have a 1min limit on footage, which makes it a very imperfect solution. I am also trying out Catbox, to see if they work better.
It does play pretty well into the narrative that all countries weaker than Russia, China, and the US are puppets of one of those three. It really would make US-European relations so much easier if the US could just command them what to do. Could just command them to not build Nord Stream 1, could just command them to put their 2% into defense, could just command them to brush their fucking teeth (WTF England, it's disgusting, have some basic hygiene).
And what happens when an 11th person shows up and you tell them they get less Oreos because they have the wrong skin color? Do they not deserve an equal share? Do they not deserve the same priority of medical care other skin colors receive?
Absolutely. My father and grandfather do as well. Nobody wants to be helpless against an aggressor and a CCW is one of the best options out there to be prepared.
Seriously. If you are posting private information on any forum, you are doing it wrong. It doesn't matter if that is Twitter, a Lemmy, or a BBS. If it is private information, don't post it publicly.
Also note with private information, assume someone will comb through all of your posts. Is the sum total of what you have released enough to ID you? One post may say what state you live in, another might say you find it funny your city is a name of a founding father, another might say you live a half mile from school and walk, etc, etc. Don't release data points that when summed can ID you.
They can; but remember you are posting public information on a public forum. The privacy features are all about what you type or don't type. Never type private information into a public forum.
The MoD has taken over Bakhmut. I'm not sure what Wagner is doing right now, but it will be really funny if Ukraine puts Bakhmut into a pocket, Wagner will just make fun of the MoD incessantly.
Also, during the past and current day, the air defense of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, destroyed seven enemy reconnaissance UAVs of the operational-tactical level of the types "Orlan-10", "Orlan-30", "Zala", "Supercam" "....
From what I understand, once Russia got their air defense sorted, the TB2s became too vulnerable and were grounded. They are likely still being used in limited ways when Ukraine feels they can.
