I went to buy more soil for my plants and came back with more plants, and I don’t actually have enough pots for them, so I guess tomorrow I go out and buy more plant pots, but actually I will come home with more plants and oh no this is my millennial midlife crisis isn’t it?

@CuriousScutter I've had 2 kids and never saw any dads in the week-time activity groups (playgroup, parents groups, swimming, etc.) during maternity leave with either, except sometimes during half term holidays. It really sucks! Hang in there, you're a great role model <3

Absolutely gutted for my friends at Microsoft/XBox today. Shuttering studios that produced excellent and well received games just shows that the incentives in this industry are all messed up. Very distressing.

Some German nouns are used completely out of context:

Bock = goat
Ich habe keinen Bock (I have no goat) = I don't want to

Wurst = sausage
Das ist mir Wurst (That's sausage to me) = I don't care

Besen = broom
Ich fress einen Besen (I eat a broom) = I don't believe this

Keks = cookie
Du gehst mir auf den Keks (You go on my cookie) = You're annoying me

Bahnhof = train station
Ich verstehe nur Bahnhof (I understand only train station) = I don't understand anything

That awkward thing where you find yourself explaining @emf to a good friend, realise half way through that he would probably love it, and be a good speaker, and that it's now too late to suggest he submit to the CFP, and then have to continue explaining what it is with his face lighting up "So when is it...?" "How do we get tickets?" whoops!!!
