I'd like to make a canopy for our outdoor folding trolley for #emfcamp mostly so the kids have somewhere a bit weatherproof during the festival. I'm thinking olde times oregon trail style round canopy, so could be made with some sort of flexible tubing, cable ties, and a tarpaulin. Does that make sense? Does anyone know what sort of tubing I could use for that?
(not buying one off amazon or wherever because they're all coming from china and won't get here in time and also boo amazon)
@CatherineFlick@peterainbow The blue water pipe is exactly what I was going to suggest. Natalie uses it in the veg garden for supporting mesh over cabbages and whatnot.
Just FYI, if you have older parents or other family members, set up some sort of shibboleth with them so they know what to ask you if you ever call them asking for something. These new generative models are going to be extremely convincing, and the idiots in charge of these companies think they can use guardrails to stop it being used inappropriately. @CatherineFlick Ha I'm like the worst person for this as I work with @FreeCAD and wrote a book on it etc! I hate the vendor lock in stuff of autodesk.. also the fact that here in Wales the government signs up EVERY child to autodesk (for tinkerCAD) aged 7. Horrid... and thats before all the ways they've ripped off the maker community!
