38 she/her or they/them or any pronoun. Cis woman… I think. I pretend to be an elf on the Internet. I’m mostly attracted to femininity.

I use tone indicators.

Trans rights.

If the music is what you're after, that's easier to find, https://cable.ayra.ch/webxmp/ has a wide variety.

I don't know about the keygens themselves, though. archive.org might have some if you feel like going mining. :)

I support this decision.

Thanks for looking out for us, Ada. <3

Star Trek in 1966: has a bridge crew containing a black female, Russian man, and faaaabulous Japanese man, each of whom holds the rank of full Lieutenant on their own abundant merits

Are there really no stupid questions?

If we for instance take, as an example, someone thoroughly explaining something which is clear to 99,9999% of the earths adult population don’t you think the remaining .0001% could come up with some? I get that this community is a place to allow people to ask questions they can’t or won’t ask elsewhere but I certainly feel...

I have long believed that the only stupid question is the one that hasn’t been asked.

I feel it’s better to ask the question (and feel stupid for a few minutes) than to remain stupid for the rest of my life. :)

This is amazing. I'm definitely introducing my smol partner this way, as a joke, at least once. :)

My mainstream five and the reasons I've picked them:

  • BRIAN BLESSED (frankly, I believe he should be in everything)
  • Craig Charles (he's very funny and witty, plus he should be in more stuff IMHO)
  • Jeremy Clarkson (he'd cock everything up and be good comic relief)
  • Joanna Lumley (she gives off the air that she's down for anything, and she was amazing in The Goodies' Audible pilot)
  • Richard Ayoade (he seems an extremely good fit for the show, and reportedly wants to do it, he's just in such high demand nowadays which is a good thing)

Sue Perkins was formerly one of my five, but she's going to be in Series 16. :)

I also have a far-less-mainstream five: Tom Scott, Chris Joel, Gary Brannan, Matt Gray, Will Seaward.

I'm going to Costco, anyone want anything?

What is your experience with pkms? (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

Did you see a significant productivity increase? Did your motivation to work on long projects change? Did it help you get over roadblocks in long project? (I tend to lose motivation whenever I struggle to make progress for more than 3 hours in a row.) How do you decide what goes inside of the system and what doesn't? (we have...

I'm just curious at this point. I'd like to spin up a second brain but I've tried a few options - Zim, Obsidian, OneNote, text files synced with Dropbox, nothing seems to really stick for me.

I would’ve let it lie!

But I would’ve let it lie, Vic!

I’ve been rewatching Vic Reeves Big Night Out on All4. Presumably because I hate my sanity and want to confuse myself? /joke

Got it in one! Or, two. You got it in two.

Cevilia,
@Cevilia@lemmy.blahaj.zone avatar

Funny thing, when I was growing up there, depending on which side of the town you lived on you pronounced it one of two different ways.

Neither of which was slay-th’wait.

Cevilia,
@Cevilia@lemmy.blahaj.zone avatar

How did you think it was pronounced?

Not judging you for not magically knowing how random place names are pronounced or anything, genuinely curious.

Cevilia,
@Cevilia@lemmy.blahaj.zone avatar

Bold of you to assume Northern paid a voice actor and didn’t just sit a random driver down in front of a microphone. /joke

Free speech, sure.

Freedom from consequences, absolutely fucking not.

Cevilia,
@Cevilia@lemmy.blahaj.zone avatar

Ah, my good old friend the slippery slope fallacy. I haven’t seen you for checks watch a couple of days.

Cevilia,
@Cevilia@lemmy.blahaj.zone avatar

Now you’re just putting words in my mouth. You clearly aren’t engaging in good faith so this conversation ends here. Have a nice day. :)

Surely the answer is “Depends which bit of it you’re quoting.” For example, if you quote something that calls for genocide then, obviously, yes. But if you were to quote something relatively innocuous, then yes because you’re quoting from a book that, among other things, calls for genocide.
