Joby's production line has started producing aircraft. They're by far my favorite of the eVTOL companies. Even if you think the concept of an electric VTOL air taxi is stupid--I think that's a totally understandable stance to take--out of all of them, Joby's VERY quiet tiltrotor design seems the most workable to me. The only thing I question is that they want to operate the air taxi service themselves... but I guess that means they've got faith in the idea.

I have this problem because I keep thinking I should try to convince my wife to watch "Downfall", which is actually an incredibly good movie but "hey, you should watch this Nazi movie" is just kinda a difficult-feeling thing to raise without a segue

Okay so… my current personal goal with the Symphony of the Night speedruns is to get under 30 minutes… I did a bunch of work to get to where I could run on a fightstick, and finally did my first complete run with the new setup today… 30:37!

And that was a super messy run (though I got both death skip and relic skip on the first try). I can do this! :D

@upmultimedia am I misremembering or during the early iPhone days wasn't there a widespread sentiment of "if this ever gets Flash, it'll really take off"? Imagine if Adobe had leapt on that, made a sweetheart deal with Apple, and gotten iOS rents for years

@astrokiwi there's an implicit assumption on page 2 that the space between berries due to packing inefficiency is filled with air (though that air mass is explicitly ignored later in the same paragraph). If that doesn't hold, I think the huge vacuum volume suddenly introduced might cause additional issues

There should be a cafe game called TAMP-OFF where you play as a barista making espresso using wii-esque motion controls and you compete against other baristas for who can pull the most perfect shot. It is critical that the game have an announcer who yells things like NICE TAMP.
