@alfredohno I saw an ad in my country the other day for a position that was all "you need 5 years of experience and a postgraduate degree. NO CHANCERS" and their offer is around 10 USD per day.

I sometimes think whoever at these places decide what labour is worth needs to be forced to visit a supermarket every other day at least.

Today I just about finished the trading system I've been making. Only one more section to go. Then I thought "this would be so much better if it used one window, not three". Then I broke the UI. I give up for today. I'll try again tomorrow.

Went to sleep at 1 this morning after hunting ghosts in Phasmo with the siblings. At 4, the cat woke me up. In the 4 hours since that, I have been reading about the dissolution of the "great" empires after WW1.

Honestly, pretty much normal me stuff nowadays.

This morning the cat has decided that he is very small and needs to lay on my lap for warmth and support and head scratches. I would like to point out that, while it is a cold morning, and he is warm, he is also not exactly small, and is in fact quite bony and heavy. This arrangement is acceptable to him, though, so my opinions on it don't matter.

This is going to be a really, REALLY busy week for me. I'm only going to resume streaming briefly for a game dev stream on Friday, along with an update regarding the future of my channel and a few other things.

It's nothing like the end of the world, but I will need to make some short-term changes due to life-things.

In retrospect, I probably don't need six scripts to do this. Likely two would be better. Some of these have only one function, and is only ever used by one other script to do one thing... once.

I need to clean this up. This is a complicated, confusing mess.

Note to self: regardless of what you do, how hard you try, how much you cry, and/or what evil and forgotten being you bargain with: you will never be able to see a UI element with a size of (0,0) pixels.

I think my favourite video game document is also from that game, about getting into the old records building. For which you need clearance. To get clearance, you need to fill out the paperworks, which can be released to you once you have proper clearance to be in the old records building.

So, you need clearance to be in the building in order to apply for clearance to be in the building. And if that isn't 99% of paperwork BS I don't know what is.

Today is a public holiday, and while I originally wanted to get some work done, I have decided that it is time for a break. I am doing a bit of coding, and this afternoon I am planning on spending some time listening to music and starting back up on worldbuilding and writing...
