@OutofPrintArchive ah that is good for a physical release. The digital one is definitely going to disappear or very quickly get editewd once it comes to paying for the licensed music.
@OutofPrintArchive Yeah it's got a 'streamer' mode that can hide the licsenced tracks but it has some pricy stuff in it which the game would defintiely suffer without.
@Konghammer@yesjohn This is why John Carpenter remains the greatest of all time. He made some of the best films and soundtracks and now he just spends his time smoking weed, playing video games and sometimes playing music with his son when he wants to.
Not gonna lie, the rumblings about Xbox change in strategy is getting under my skin.
Not about others getting to play Xbox games or anything like that, but what it means for the platform itself.
What's the point of even owning one anymore if the rumours are true?
It'll start getting less 3rd party support for sure, especially niche games and Japanese support I figure.
And what about my digital library going forward, which spans over a thousand games on said platform?
What a waste...
@OutofPrintArchive
I'm guessing this is pushing hey other consoles look at what your missing get an Xbox and game pass you get all of these great games for free! (Obviously not free but yknow).
Definitely feels like a big push frlor when COD and that drops and is Day One Gamepass
As my obsession with fighting games moves into yet another week, I had to look up my favourite one on the Wii.
Review for Tatsunoko vs Capcom from NGamer 45 - January 2010 (UK)
@OutofPrintArchive One of my favourite Wii games. Really wish it would get a re-release but i get that the licensing would make it basically impossible.
Remember getting this and the game store had literally just got the one copy of it in 😅
@OutofPrintArchive Recently the Analogue Pocket has become compatible with all the old Capcom Vs Arcade machines so i just need to get a fight stick for mine and should be good to go!
@OutofPrintArchive Yeah it's got a dock so you can use it like a Switch and just dock it to your TV. Looks great with the new CRT filters they've added.
Trying to find some articles to post with a winter/Christmas theme.
Surprisingly, this is a lot harder that I thought...
Besides the obvious picks like snowboard games, I can think of games like Diddy Kong Racing with it's incredible snow track, Christmas NiGHTS, Die Hard Trilogy, Gremlins and such, but not much else.
So if you can think of a good one, let me know and I'll try to hunt down the articles. 😉
Tumblr did an big effort post about how they will be the latest to switch to an algorithm driven home feed to try and capitalize on Twitter's implosion.
Really feels like Mastodon is going to be the only place left on the internet with an actual chronological feed.
