Carmageddon - Kill, waste, win. (www.youtube.com)

This game was on everybody’s naughty list. And that’s why everyone wanted to play it. It’s not the best racing game, with floaty handling, and moon inspired physics, but it was amazing with it’s localized damage model, and the option to win a race not by racing fast, but destroying your opponents or even killing every...

Cyclones - a 1994 FPS by Raven Software that went under the radar because it released a month after Doom II. (youtu.be)

It was way ahead of its time. Having sloped floors, catwalks, transparant textures and moving platforms while still being limited by 90 degree walls. A mouse based shooting with the crosshair moving across the screen and using that same crosshair for your HUD and picking up items. (not unlike what system shock did)...

I’ve had these, and they are actually pretty good. But you will burn your tounge. Badly.

16 year olds should legally be allowed to vote in my opinion

Seriously it really grinds my gears that the Canadian government thinks that 16 years olds are mature and intelligent enough to drive a car, work a full-time job, pay taxes, apply for a passport, and are able to live independently on their own without a parent or guardian if they want to and get married with parent consent....

Honestly, 16 year olds have a better view on what’s good for the planet than the average boomer. And I’m saying this as an older millennial.

They have to live in this future, on average, longer. So why should it be raised?

Are you sure? Let’s compare gun violence in France with a country with opposite gun laws, like the united states.

Gun laws will never stop all gun violence. But it sure does reduce it a whole lot. Just look at Australia. They banned guns after a big shooting, and guess what? Gun violence went down. I wonder if it might be correlated.

I just wanted some insights from other fathers... (feddit.uk)

We’re currently looking to start a family, so I thought I’d hit up YT for some advice as a male and the priority skew is mental. The most important thing is having a boy, apparently. Not tips for being supportive, how to help your partner, how to deal with anxieties about money and time....

Babies cry, and it can be a lot. Maybe even frustrating. If you are feeling frustrated, just take a step back if your kid is in a safe spot. The kid won’t break from crying. Just step back. Or ask your SO to step in if available. And ask to help if it’s the other way around. You’re not a bad dad for doing that. If anything you’re a good one, because heated emotions can only damage.

Everything is a phase. Is the baby crying a lot? It will pass. Does the baby only want mommy? It will pass. All bad things will pass.

Enjoy cuddle times. Once they are bigger, they won’t sleep on your chest anymore.
