You could run a WebDAV server, like Nextcloud.

On windows it supports thin sync (meaning that it keep a reference to the file instead of the whole file), on Linux not yet, as it is still in alpha (but you can just connect it as a remote disk and be done with it. That’s how I do with mines).

If you don’t want the whole Nextcloud, there are standalone cli WebDAV servers.

If Tencent sell its shares, it would make the share price plummet, which will make it harder for the studio to get money by selling new shares.

You are half right, half wrong.

It is true that a non publicly traded firm won’t see an immediate effect if one of the shareholder leave the ship, but businesses work on trust. If Tencent sell its share, it is a sign that it doesn’t trust the studio anymore. Thus, potential private investors, like banks, will be more hesitant to work with them, and will ask for higher rates to compensate for that perceived lose of trust. Thus, hurting the Studio.

My cat is the same, minus the hissing part. He just goea hide every time he see a stranger. I adopted himbwhen he was already 7 y/o, no idea if he was mistreated, but at least he know he can come cuddle with me anytime he want. And he does a lot.

Problem is that the only two other options is to either turn a blind eye on what looked like the start of a genocide, or having two nuclear power at open war.

Abandon Ukraine means it put its own wellfare above human rights, in which case Putin would be right to despise the West.

Go at war with Russia would put humanity on risk of annihilation as both side has enough nuclear weapons to wipe it out. Multiple times.

Having the Ukrainian choose their destiny by defending their land, while not ideal, is the only option that the West have to stay true to its ideals. The West populations are not blind to their sacrifices, and as long as they are willing to fight for their rightful territory, so are the West to provide the means to do so.

On OpenSUSE, in Yast bootloader tool, there is a checkbox to to do something like locking the bootloader (it has been a while, I don’t remember the exact thingy). Rebooted and oh, surprise, the bootloader was locked… Which mean Grub didn’t load.

I had to reinstall the whole OS 🤣
