IIRC he was fighting “tooth & nail” to get out of the deal…until they made a request for some of his e-mails.

Suddenly he’s done fighting and carried through with the purchase.

(Sorry but I’m going into an appointment so no time to look up this new event…)

Please keep in mind that according to the Mayo Clinic a normal adult needs no more than 600 UI per day.

It’s not a water-soluble vitamin so you can take too much and cause harm.

Disclosure: I just looked this up yesterday after buying a Buy 1/Get 1 of 220 doses of 2000 UI vitamin D! I thought it was water-soluble, and I could just take it and excrete what my body didn’t need. I bought enough to kill myself, many times over…

Interesting report. Two concerning bits though:

No attempt was made to distinguish between vitamin D2 and D3 because there was not always a distinction in the literature. However, vitamin D2 is less effective at raising serum 25(OH)D concentrations than is vitamin D3 (13).

And that the group sizes (“n” values) top out in just one at 1653. The rest are usually under 20.

Which doesn’t matter in the slightest as my post was to simply make the OP aware that too much can be harmful.

Your post simply raises the bar on how much is too much, but doesn’t change the underlying point I was trying to make.

Thank you for posting that report!

I’m calling dibs on Neptune as my family’s home base in the future!

I know it’s several billion years in the future, but I called it.

First: Thanks for the great suggestions!

Second: Shop around folks! A quick search shows that these T’s go for around $5, but Amazon has them for almost double the price.

Third: If you have both minibyte can you confirm that the Bella Canvas has a shorter sleeve length than the Next Level? The pictures seems to show that but then again that depends on the model.

I love my Epson EcoTank printer. $12/3oz. Ink is a fantastic bargain, and no chips to deal with as they’re just big, dumb, tanks.

A Colorado town's newspapers were stolen after a story about rape charges at the police chief's house (apnews.com)

Nearly all the copies of a small-town Colorado newspaper were stolen from newspaper racks on the same day the Ouray County Plaindealer published a story about charges being filed over rapes alleged to have occurred at an underage drinking party at the police chief’s house while the chief was asleep, the owner and publisher...

How to pull rocks out of pipe in the ground?

My mom has a hole in the ground that she puts her clothes drying hanger in. Like this. The hole in the ground is a 2" or so pipe, set in concrete. The pipe has filled with gravel. Anyone have a tip on getting the rocks out? I can only get so many out using my fingers and then trying to use a set of chopsticks.

Phở Bo (Vietnamese beef soup). It’s such an amazingly good soup, but the making of it is a multi-step process that takes hours.

To expand: DO NOT assume that in plane WiFi will be working and download any movies, songs, etc. that you’re going to want to be enjoying!

(Our 6 hour flight to Hawaii was a SLOG because we assumed…)

5th grade. I knew what cloning was, but had never heard the word “Cyclone” until an ill-fated English lesson at school.

I actually raised my hand and asked the teacher why she was referring to a tornado using a term for genetic replication. She didn’t know, “Genetic Replication”.

There’s awkward, then there’s that moment. 🤦
