@geoObserver Actually, PROJ has a much longer history than that. Frank took over an already pretty much mature project whose origins date back to 1983. See @hobu slides: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lk7v7jbxrta2dfh/history-of-proj4-foss4g2017-howard-butler.pdf?dl=0

Oh no, our https://github.com/WhereGroup/spatial_filter plugin has had broken saving for many months after a bug in QGIS was introduced.

We only got two, late and frustrated reports by random luck alerting us to an issue. Surely many users dropped the plugin because it was not working right :(

EvenRouault,

@cartocalypse None of that would be possible without the @qgis paid bug fixing program, which would not be possible without all donations it receives and sustaining members who contribute to its budget.

Offline .vtpk in

Starting from 3.26, QGIS now supports (Vector Tile Package) files out of the box!

This is great news, particularly for users from , since this makes it possible to use the @datagvat open government .at vector tiles directly, without any fuss: …

@underdarkGIS @nyalld @datagvat This is like File Geodatabase support. The OpenFileGDB driver in GDAL master now supports new data types (int64, DateOnly, DateTimeWithUTCOffset) added in ArcGIS Pro 3.2 that aren't supported by the released versions of the proprietary SDK. Or relationship management that isn't available in the basic licensing tier of ArcGIS but is available out-of-the-box through GDAL and QGIS
