All right, I want to ask the folks who love cats and follow the hashtag a question. Many of you have probably already seen me posting about Ginza, the feral cat I was able to convince to give up being a feral cat and move inside with me.

I've sometimes wondered and I get puzzled by the descriptions on the internet where Ginza is a type of tortie cat? Of course she has tabby markings and stripes on her, but she also has blotches of white. Here are some pics.

oh she must have been very noisy when talking.

It seems Ginza never learned to talk with people through meowing, she probably missed that window of time after being weaned away by her mother and when kittens typically learn that while Mom won't feed them anymore, human beings will feed them if they meow.

Maybe especially Squeak and Ginza because Ginza doesn't really meow but she will squeak and chirp when she's happy.

Dreamed I was in charge of taking an oil tanker ship to the Bering Strait with a load of blueberry Pop-Tart filling. Did I mention yesterday that my dreams are getting really surreal lately?

I'm up and have eaten breakfast. Soon will feed Ginza hers.

I hope today the weather will be more amenable. Feel really grumpy about day after day of clouds with showers or rain. Of course what scares me is I know that's basically what it will be here in the late fall and wintertime.

4.1 mile walk done. Hustled on it because of the chilly wind and also to work off a bit of restlessness caused by all the rainy weather.

Ate half of the gluten free frozen pizza. Okay enough crust for a gluten free dough, greatly enjoyed the melted cheese, tomato sauce, peppers, mushrooms, sausage, onions.

Probably will be in bed within the next 90 minutes. I can feel a satisfying tired resulting from the cycling and walking and eating 4 meals today. Hopefully now my body will rebuild itself a little stronger, a little faster.

16.75 mile ride on the bicycle. Some sunshine, but also windy and a bite of chill in that wind. Tried out some things as I've gotten more familiar with how the bike feels under me.

Apparently that took me up over 200 miles of cycling this month. May 7th was the first day I cycled and I went 2.77 miles that day. I've made progress since then.

Gonna eat my 3rd meal of the day and take a walk in about 2 hours. That'll do me pretty good for physical activity today. Of course I had a rest day yesterday because of the rain.

My dinner tonight after I take my walk will be the gluten free frozen pizza I bought on Saturday. It's nothing great, but it's easy to prepare and clean up and gives me that wonderful combo of gooey cheese and tomato sauce on a bread-type of crust.

Today's ride was more pushing and high-end, some because of the chill, some because of frustrations I felt about all the gloomy weather we've been having.

I hope that tomorrow there's more sun and it's warmer and that'll let me settle into a dawdling sort of ride where I just enjoy a feel of gentleness to my movement and the sunshine upon me.

When my next paycheck goes into my account, I will order 2 new tires for the bicycle. The ones on this old mountain bike are pretty well treadless from age and wear. Fortunately I was still able to find the measurements on the sidewall.

I feel yesterday's physical activity still. I will need to be slower paced today. When I do walk and cycle, I will need to make them relaxed and recovery level at most. Body needs to recover today and I will want to feed it well.

Had a dream with my mom in it last night. Told her how I had been diagnosed with ADHD and that had helped me sort out a lot of stuff and reduced feelings of guilt and shame.

I've had breakfast. Will soon feed Ginza hers.

Weather forecast says we'll get more sunshine today than yesterday. Might reach the low 60s F. Tomorrow might reach mid 60s. Then back to clouds and showers for 4 straight days. But maybe after that a stretch of days with sunshine and temps climbing into the 70s. I hope that comes true. I'm tired of cloudy, damp, and chilly weather.

The brain is bumbling along today. I feel better than when I woke up, but I can still feel the effects from cycling and walking yesterday which I did at harder effort than what I've often been doing. So my body feels that today.

Plus it looks like my body never quite got down into deep sleep mode last night.

I suspect right now with where I am in this over recovery and rehab process, my body doesn't have much reserve in a sense. So that hard effort depleted me.

As the day has passed, I've decided that yesterday took a lot out of me. Enough so I won't cycle today, but I still will take a short walk of 30 to 40 minutes to help circulate blood.

After the walk I got a medium pot of veggie mash started cooking and then spent time working on cleaning and lubing the chain on the bicycle. Probably some time in the next month I will order a new chain but this one works decently enough for now, plus it's given me practice on cleaning and lubing it.

Cleaned dishes before mashing the veggie mash. Mashed the mash and put it into storage containers. Washed the pot et al used to make the mash.

I'm tired. I'll be in bed shortly after 6.

Sunshine finally started breaking through the morning clouds. Ginza was sleeping up on a perch in her cat tree.

"Wake up, sleepyhead!" I said to her. "The sun is finally shining."

Ginza looked down to where I was pointing at the sunshine on the bed. She quickly jumped down and when she entered the sunshine, she made one of her happy squeaky chirps.

moving is super hectic! I'm glad you're getting settled down from that.

I imagine that me moving 3 time zones westward is probably another reason.

Does anyone like keeping odd sleep hours?

I fall asleep between 6pm and 7:30pm every night and wake up between 2:30am to 4:30am.

Great thing about social media is that whatever time you are awake, there are always autistic and ND people around the world awake and online.

I'm awake. Slept better last night than the night before. Body feels better this morning, the legs especially. Supposed to be sunny today and temps will climb to near 70F. It'll be nice to take an easy pace bicycle ride after work.

I've had breakfast and will soon feed Ginza hers. Right now she's sleeping on a perch high up in her cat tree.
