The discourse around #DragonsDogma2 should be interesting next week as a lot of people are very excited for it - but it sounds punishingly old school.
Eg the map is all fogged out, no arrows over quest givers (in fact, NPCs largely seek you out and speak to you), they don’t tell you how to do the quests - just give hints, no fast travel, no compass markers so you have to run around and try to find the village for quest, then when there, no arrows for objective etc. Hard combat too.
@GossiTheDog they are talking about a 4090 but the screenshots show a graph with a 3080.
also why the 5800X3D and not the 7800X3D.
I mean the point still stands the game is heavy. the article is just a bit odd?
@GossiTheDog I dont doubt it.
just the hardware they used in the text and the hardware in the pictures dont match.
and the 7800X3D is just my curiosity because it is the fastest cpu in most games
@GossiTheDog airpods are already glued to hell and pretty much a disposable item, asking myself what it would take to make them waterproof?
I know there are some waterproof earphones for swimming but they got some weird tips so no water goes in the ear.
@ppn@GossiTheDog yeah because nothing is really waterproof. I would just assume if they give it a IP Certification, that there is actual well "resistance" behind it
runs a mailserver on linux, works fine for 5+ years
retires old mailserver, sets up new mailserver using docker containers cause apparently easier
mails no longer arrive after about a week of uptime
