I’m not judging, I’m genuinely curious. The reason why I’m asking is because in this sort of games I like to make the character resemble me as much as possible in every aspect, so I’m just curious to know what is the motivation behind men that decide to play as a female character.
For most personal projects, hosting on the cloud may be overkill, but tempting with its supposed ease of use and benefits of scale. Self-hosting is often overlooked as a solution with the benefit of simplicity and cost....
Because when my IP address changes all my websites stop point to the services. Unless I go and change the A record in my DNS every time that happens, which is frustrating and annoying. Cloud flare tunnels fixed that for me so that no matter what happens my domains are fixed to the local host services in my machine with no port forwarding and no DNS maintenance
I’m spinning up a docker container of this right now. I already host next cloud and if you add the sponsorship skipping I will lose my damn mind. I’ve wanted that feature for so so long it’ll be enormously useful.
Anyone have any good external pen testing tools that you’ve used on your self hosted setup? Mine is pretty secure overall but I would like to be able to scan the WAN for vulnerabilities or misconfigurations just to make sure I haven’t missed anything.
Ah now that does look promising, I had settled on portainer but this yacht program looks very noob friendly! I’ll install it today and check it out! Cheers!
That’s a fantastic suggestion and I’ve already been doing exactly this :) but, I’ve done it just enough to know that I’m really really good at breaking stuff, and I don’t want to wait to fully transition from windows. Hence the need for full system backups
