LennethBright,

But Twitter has been massively losing advertisers, and that is what will kill it rather than losing users. Unless Elon goes sunk cost fallacy on us and funds it directly in which case he can keep it alive perpetually.

LennethBright,

Or you'd lose the exact amount of times needed to maintain a proper friendship. If that was your goal.

LennethBright,

Breaks it down into what though? The article stated that several of these plastics are made of toxic chemicals. So if we are not careful, that could make things even worse.

9 Republican States Left A Bipartisan Election Integrity Group. Now, They’re Struggling To Replace It (www.huffpost.com)

For years, ERIC, or the Electronic Registration Information Center, worked in relative obscurity. Member states, which at ERIC’s peak last year reached 34, including key presidential battlegrounds, shared information about their voter rolls in a central exchange. The program revealed voters who were registered in two states,...

LennethBright,

Republicans making short sighted decisions based on emotional bursts? I'm shocked. Shocked.

LennethBright,

I love to use, "You are technically correct, the best kind of correct".

LennethBright,

I put it on the same level as Leverage. It's fun action that is also stupid, but that's part of it's charm.

LennethBright,

An 8 episode live action adaptation of the first 100 or so chapters of a completely bonkers manga had no business being this good. I have no idea how they pulled it off, bit major kudos to everyone involved.

I look forward to the Alabasta arc getting covered next season. I trust their ability to make it now.

LennethBright,

Looks like cows were onto something with the whole swallow and then rechew mechanic.

LennethBright,

But the bag of holding would also be cursed. Like maybe it dispenses the money one dollar at a time with a cash register sound at every dollar.

LennethBright,

This worked for me. I joined a meetup board gaming group and became close friends with the host. We were both single at the time, now we are both in relationships and child free and regularly get together to play games. It's been great.

LennethBright,

Also so you don't lose your subscribed list. Though it's a huge pain here to set that up.

Pastor alarmed after Trump-loving congregants deride Jesus' teachings as 'weak' (www.rawstory.com)

Evangelical Christian leader Russell Moore revealed this week that many evangelical pastors have become alarmed that their Trump-loving congregants have become so militant that they are even rejecting the teachings of Jesus Christ. In an interview with NPR, Moore said that multiple pastors had told h...

LennethBright,

Of course it's causing problems. For far too long the right talking points have been at odds with the very teachings they claim to support.

India's Defence Ministry to switch from Windows to locally built Ubuntu fork 'Maya' over security concerns (www.thehindu.com)

Due to increasing concerns over cyberattacks and malware, India’s Defence Ministry has decided to replace Microsoft’s OS with a locally made Ubuntu fork named Maya (meaning ‘deception’ in Sanskrit). Maya will have an interface similar to Windows to ease the transition, and an end-point detection and protection system...

LennethBright,

An Ubuntu fork meant to ease transfer from Windows? Sounds like they are making their own flavor of Linux Mint.

Maya is a cool name to use too, but I associate it with the 3D graphics software first.
