I do it all the time. I mainly do it to make sure I’m not arguing against a literal child. There’s many reasons why one might look at a person’s post history.
Watering down language is part of the right wing platform. I think they actually want to be seen as nazis so the term is less powerful. On the other side, they are calling everyone groomers to water down that language as well.
I’m all for saying both sides are bad, because they are, but I’m guessing you either did something to warrant being called a nazi or found a cringey liberal to argue with.
You definitely could do more research since you disagree with scientific consensus on trans issues and think you know better how it aught to be.
I didn’t see anyone accuse you of genocide but from your other comments I wouldn’t be surprised if you did and just didn’t know it or tried to pretend you didn’t because of a technicality.
i’m doing it because I want to make the fediverse more friendly place, in hopes of making it more welcoming for new users, and the nicer place in general. But I wonder how much is just less bots.
I had a pretty curated feed on reddit where I basically got rid of most subs that allowed toxicity. So I’ve actually noticed more toxicity since the switch. But I’ve also noticed that posts have more of a personal vibe hear that I’m all for.
An Australian (I think) news network took just that clip out of context. Biden’s Twitter team reposted it with an “I approve this message.” It’s great!
I have dietary track issues myself and only poop ~1-3 times per week. At my worst I went about 2 weeks between poos. I also have adhd. It is clear this research is 100% true.
I googled his controversies and it seems that most are just mad that he is left-wing or mad he went with a republican to get more funding for Nasa. I couldn’t find anything about how he is personally.
Taxes don’t really make people quit. It just makes them more poor. The best it does is over time people stop trying things long enough to get addicted.
Your sentiment is why I don’t consider myself a communist. Capitalism can work well but it requires extraordinarily powerful regulations. Communism is maybe a bit better but still requires the same amount of regulation we’re failing to implement now.
We need to fix capitalism before we make the move to communism.
The King James Bible actually gives advice on how to abort a baby if it was conceived out of wedlock. Not to mention all the time it said life begins at the first breath. It seems to be more about controlling women than anything else.
When someone makes a crude joke on the internet (lemmy.world)
Lemmy is more left leaning because the rights popularity seen on other social media are driven by bots that are not here.
Yet.
Why is there such a large amount of communist and transgender related posts on the Fediverse compared to other platforms?
I am not criticizing them, I’m just out of the loop.
I feel like Fediverse users are nicer to each other and more generous with upvotes than reddit.
i’m doing it because I want to make the fediverse more friendly place, in hopes of making it more welcoming for new users, and the nicer place in general. But I wonder how much is just less bots.

I'm going to miss AITA. Even if someone makes it a community, it will take a long time to populate.
