Only thing that could make it better would be small icons showing the most notable goods transported on each. I can guess but I bet there would be some surprises
As others said, these are mostly all signs of some kind of executive dysfunction. Mine is from depression, not ADHD, but there’s a lot of overlap. I obsessively keep my inbox empty which is a whole 'nother vibe
Hi all, not sure if there’s a better place in the fediverse to ask, but I’m looking for suggestions for a 2 player game. Something that is pretty quick in terms of set up, learning, and play. My go to for this scenario right now is the Tacocat game by the makers of Exploding Kittens, but I’d like to branch out and try some...
I love Seven Wonders Duel but I wouldn’t call it super accessible compared to something like Hive. There’s quite a lot to keep track of for the first few playthroughs. But for two people who are experienced with other games it has a good amount of replayability!
My favorites for two are Carcasonne, Seven Wonders Duel, and classic Cribbage. Those first two aren’t exactly simple to learn though.
Another suggestion is to play a cooperative game with two. This can be really fun to talk about thr strategy together since you are on a team. For simpler, I like Forbidden Island and Forbidden Desert.
They’ve really been testing this card out the last few sets but now they’ve really just made a virtual white Unearth. I wonder how long before we see this at 1 mana at common.
I feel like this card is absolutely nuts but I think this is just where we are for creature power creep. Over half the time, this is a non-legendary one mana 2/2 with counter synergies that basically surveils 1. The other option is a 1 mana creature that draws a land card. Those would both be insane if printed straight up.
The downside is you do not get to choose. ETB draw a card creatures usually only get played in blink decks or with other synergies (spirited companion in enchantments) and 1 mana 2/2s only get played in stompy or aggro decks. I think you try this in stompy with [[Tribute to the World Tree]]
Very very good for limited. At first I thought it was common and was scared - I’m having a hard time telling the rarity from the set symbol with this one and have to reference the footer a lot.
[[Kitesail Freebooter]] is back, but with no relevant creature types. The lifelink is nice, but I don’t think this is gonna see any play outside of limited.
That’s a very powerful ability! It’s pretty expensive and needs to survive the turn cycle but if there is a good way to ramp for dinos in the set, I could see this being a payoff for that kind of midrange deck. Even a single turn unanswered provides a ton of value. If it can’t overcome the 2 mana removal though this is DOA.
Makes sense, I missed that this was an ability word, not a mechanic. I guess descend/descended has rules meaning in the same way that ‘dies’ does but given its thematic name it’s not likely to be reused.
Wow I enjoyed that. I feel like they more than made up for season 1. I really enjoyed most of season 2 and the last few episodes really got me excited for what’s to come....
Yeah season 2 was good television and the finale closed it well. Unlike last season, at least half the episodes were really memorable. As a book reader, I wasn’t unhappy with any of the plot departures that were made this episode - it all made sense within the Turning that the show depicts. Although I can’t say I loved the showy CGI in the sky at the end- those sort of things rarely stand up over time and I think it looked goofy.

Not too much to stop reading. It’s a pretty dry subject so the opinions and more hot-button references made the piece more readable. Though I think the characters interviewed could have added enough life without the author injecting snide comments.
Circassia and that Greek Empire are both pretty bold predictions for 1863, along with a World Capital in Lisbon. I wonder what Dron would have predicted for Anatolia… maybe some sort of renewed Caliphate across the mideast? I think it’s interesting that Gdansk/Danzig seems to be in Germany but Konigsberg/Kaliningrad is in Poland. Seems like a pretty arbitrary straight line border there, I guess Dron couldn’t predict a border at our current one after Germany lost two world wars.
Pulled a promo Skitter as well as Skitter’s Blessing and some real good rat synergies. One of my enchanted tales was a showcase foil Necropotence. Pretty stoked on my pulls!
As for the format, sealed has seemed really slow with all the food around. Pretty much everyone is playing black or green so everyone’s life total is practically 30. Red seems really strong though in my BR build.
Nicely done. I love your plant - I’m trying to fill my whole apartment with leafy vines like this. Though in second picture doesn’t it make it so you can’t open that cabinet?
