I’m 42-years-old, and I’m always looking out for new music. And not just new music – forgotten music. One of my hobbies is trawling YouTube for songs with 0 views.

But I’m an outlier. For most people, discovery of new music peaks at adolescence. And when you hit your 30s, musical taste calcifies.

There’s lots of data to back this up.

I notice this doesn’t just happen with music but with movies as well. Lots of older men don’t want to watch new movie franchises. They want to return to the old “nostalgia” well again and again.

Personally, I find such malaise depressing. I never want to stop growing as a human being, experiencing new things.

@atomicpoet Interesting to see how popular the 80s is even among those who wasn't teens back then. I would've liked a more detailed list because I would've liked to see if there were a difference between 80-84 and 85-89. I personally think 75-84 was brilliant when it comes to creativity in music. After 85 it was a bit too much cocaine in the music business. That's the only explanation I have for the video to U can't touch this.

Guys... you can get this with mobile xeons. That means someone is producing motherboards with xeons on them that are smaller than miniITX. And they can handle ecc 😍 That would be pretty awesome for a home server.

@notthebee @CraftComputing I know the usual mutant cpus, and the ERYING motherboards don't, but these are "supposed" to "support" ecc :-) I'm spreading the word right now in hope to find out who built the motherboards, or someone richer than me buy one.

    @cisene Cyberdazzle don't seems to work, but here's another idea. Draw a line around your face and then a horizontal line behind your ear, then you can say it's clearly someone wearing a mask of your face and not really you.
